A new MMO to try reccomendations? Aion? Tera? Swtor?

I've recently quit WoW the MMORPG because it was so boring , repetitive , tedious and just annoying. I'm looking for a new MMO to start of with and I've been looking at quite a few of them. If anyone has any expereince in any of these feel free to express your opinion. Now I have played Guild Wars which was alright but quickly got boring. Lotro I have to say the same - the combat was boring , visually it was good and story but again repetitive. I liked WoW for a long time but as I said it has had its time. Is Aion any good? I've looked at the videos of it and I've seen mixed opinions. Got a idea on it? As a ex WoW player would I enjoy it? Thanks! here are the websites I've been looking at

I think Maplestory is pretty fun.

It's a 2D game, which makes it a pretty unique MMO.

And it's free, all the way.

Hope you like it! :3

It's really hard to recommend a specific MMORPG, because everyone likes something different. A game I like you may hate. Check out http://mmohut.com for a gigantic list of these free mmorpg / mmo games. I use that site to find new games to play. Every few days I try a new game :) - It's a lot of fun because I try everything. They have like every single MMORPG categorized nicely with reviews, screenshots, videos and more. Heck they even list the game's system requirements!. Best part is all the games are free, which rocks.

Or you can just see a huge list of the games with scores, types, etc above.

Let me know if this helped at all.A new MMO to try reccomendations? Aion? Tera? Swtor?
Aion is a HUGE let down, I don't reccommend it. Was awsome for about a month because it was new (played on release) but it quickly got dull and there was so many things that just felt wrong. Like Flying . . a huge selling point was that you could fly, they didn't tell you that you can't fly in 80% of the areas . . pffft

Guild Wars is not an MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) its an MUO (Multi User Online).

City of Heroes/Villains is fun, the costume design alone can give you hours of fun. It went downhill for a bit with everryone grinding one area but I hear it has been resolved and is picking back up again ( I have a friend that still plays it, I'll prob go back soon)

I would reccommend holding off or playing a free MMO for a while as there are 3 new MMO's in the pipeline that are set to be awsome (well 2 awsome and 1 pretty good fun)

Star Wars the Old Republic is looking to be the best MMO ever, check out the videos and info at http://www.swtor.com/

Final Fantasy XIV is looking to be an immersive game that is to do right what its predecessor (FFXI) done all wrong)

Lego Universe is set to be a fun MMO that will please anyone that loves lego games and the humour that tends to go with them.
